O got more Holaspsis Guentheri/ Blue tailed gliders

UroJade Aug 15, 2005 04:07 PM

im so glad i found a place to get more my original three passed on and i search for more for quite a while.
i have 2 juvinales and 2 adults now the adult female looks kinda old and beat up, has most of her tail missing and is slow to go for food. she prefers to steal it fomr one of teh smaller ones after they've cuaght it. but she's fat and its hilarious to watch her run with her little bob tail. the tail will be back soon its visibly longer every day. the adult male and one of the juvies are in great health running all over digging and always the firt 2 to go after the food. the otehr juvinal is skinny and lays with his eyes closed alot but he cuaght a cricket today and i think if he can get one every day and stay hydrated he might make it. i have pictures on my camera but its not letting me upload them right now. i'll post pictures once i figure out what the problem is

The old ones layed alot of eggs but they never hatched i think i must have had 2 females and not a male/female pair but it looks like i do have a pair this time, one has a very bright orange underside.
i had such a hard time finding them, luckily i was in a reptile chat room and just thought it wouldnt hurt to ask if anyone had seen them for sale and they pointed me in the direction of diamond reptiles who told me they'd contact me when they got them and now i have 4 little ones. i cant beleive how much i like these things. i didnt like being without them when my last one passed away

cool.if you get fertile eggs that hatch please post about them as these are not commonly bred lizards in captivity.i do have a friend who has a small group of them in a 20 gallon high.i believe he has five or six in it.he has just gotten eggs from one of them.he got them about a month ago so he thinks the femal was gravid when he got her.good luck with your new pets
