best to start with?

what is the best type of monitor to start with? i already have an ackie. thanks

If you want something big, black or white throats can make very good pets if they are handled alot as hatchlings. they can grow to be anywhere between 4 - 6 feet. Savanahs can also make good good pets just make sure if u get one it's healthy. Savanahs get about 3-4 feet on average. Timors are also good monitors if you want something smaller.

Guess it depends on what YOU are expecting to get out of the situation.

Do you want:

Something big, med or small?
Something you can handle, or can it be a display animal?
Something fairly inexpensive or does it matter?
etc.

Thow out some of your thoughts, and maybe one of these fine people, can give you some ideas.
