There was a leucistic eastern up for sale last year but im not sure where it ended up. They wanted a lot of money for that snake. No southern leucistics out there that I know of but there was at one time some albino's. Well take care and hope this helped a little.

Is that a pie bald western toad? Is it in your collection? I have a friend over in germany thats produced totally white (leucistic( western toads. Just wondering if its something about the species? Hope to hear from you. Thanx, Leo

sorry thats the wrong pic!!! it was going to be this one. its a american toad from kentucky its female and i still have her to try to breed next sping.its a calico luecistic or calico paradox leucistic.thats a very bad pic.i have a friend that has true albino w.toads.would love to chat more.send me a e-mail.

Was that the toad pictured in the REPTILES magazine this month? Looks similar.

Lucy W. Hogs are as far as I know illegal to own...as they came from a WC female. A pair of lucy's hatched out in 1998 out of six eggs from a wild caught female. The guy who hatched them was honest of where he got them, and so I believe all of the lucy's are technically property of the state of CO. I think I heard the Denver Zoo has quite of few of these guys as I believe that's where the collection went too when it was confiscated. They were a COOL looking snake. I remember having pics of them up on the wall at a reptile store I worked at

what was the point of taking the snakes that were in captive care just to put them in a captive zoo if they were not normals?the man hatched them from a normal? i heard he found a wc leu.?sounds like they robbed him to me.its a morph how can they clame it and give it to anyone?not to say that the zoo is not the best place,but its still in captivity.its wrong
