Thermometer

Fauxhat Aug 15, 2005 11:29 PM

I just bought two digital thermometers for my cage. I shall stick one on each end but do I stick them to the inside of the glass, or the outside? I ask really... special questions.

one thermometer should be placed ON the actual basking site/rock --you can remove it once you have the actual basking temperature balanced and then check it every week or so or after the lights get moved or changed or if you change your tank around inside.

The second probe should be placed on the opposite or 'cool' side of the tank...against the glass at 'dragon level' is fine...you can keep it there permanently or again just place it there to test and adjust the spot. This is for ambient temperature.
