Eastern Shore Virginia

I recently moved to our family farm on the eastern shore. I was floored when I went out the back door this morning and found this unbelievable bright orange guy hiking across the yard!

Where in Virginia are you? I've just reciently moved to Virginia Beach and haven't met any herp friendly people yet.
I'd be interested in talking to someone that has some experience herping around my area. That's a very nice male Eastern Box Turtle you've got there. The first words out of my seven year old daughters mouth were "Daddy I want one of those!".

LOL kids love turtles and I do too! We're 50 miles north of the bridge just off route 13. So about an hour and a half from you probably. I just moved here from Pa, what a change! People say things like "have a nice day"! Here's our farm, come herping sometime!

I'll take you up on the offer someday soon!
Thank you for the photo's, your farm looks like it would make a very pleasent trip even without the herps.
Thank you,
Phil Patton
