verve Aug 16, 2005 07:17 AM

i just adopted a so called albino leo from a friend.. it was sold to him as an albino and she has the colour of an albino. however, her eyes are black. to my knowledge, albinos are supposed to have red/pink eyes. is it different for leos?

I can't say for sure without seeing a picture.

The short answer is: I don't know of any albinos with black eyes. In albino leos, the eyes can range from tan to ruby red.

My guess if your friend had a blizzard (which is whiteish to gray, hard to find one REALLY white. It's pretty common for a blizzard to have black eyes.
