A few pics of a young female Nile crocodile I've raised since a hatchling and her enclosure we finished a few months back.

Wow, you have to be one of the very few original nile owners that have one that big. How much interaction do you have with her? There are so few croc owners it seems that have animals over 5 feet.

I interact with her quite alot. Obviously for feeding and such she has a routine. Same for routine cleaning and maintenance. Since I've owned her the duration of her life she understands the routines and is quite calm. During feeding it's another matter, you have to be quick in there. I feed her off of tongs.

She is between 6-7ft and is still a very young animal. I keep seven Niles and they run the gamut in terms of personality and ease of care. She is one I consider calm.

She is kept outdoors all year. In the winter the pool is heated, in the extreme summer heat I use shade cloth over her pool.

We have a series of these enclosures being built, she will move into a main pool in a few years.
