Clarifcation

This is probably something that everyone knows, but what do the numbers mean when someone says like 2.0 Ball Python? I've even seen like 0.0.1 Ball Python. Is it the number of snakes you own? Something to do with the sex of your snakes? Any info. would be appreciated as I've been keeping snakes for a while now and it never occured to me what the numbers mean.

First number indicates the number of males, second the number of females, and the third is the number of unknown/unsexed.

I figured it was probably the number of males and females, I just wasn't sure which meant what. Thanks for the clarification.
