Frilled off and on eating

jacsoncham Aug 16, 2005 03:49 PM

I have a 7 year old frilled and since I have gotten her from my neighbor her eating habits have been off and on. She now will only except food by hand. Right now she is drinking water but refuses her usual diet of king worms. she does not look skinny and it is almost like she is in hibernation. When I gave her her water today, dripping on her forehead, she would drink it but constantly kepped her eyes closed. Not until I gave her a small nudge forward did she open her eyes just to move a little forward. Is this normal, any suggestions would be fgreatly appriciatyed.

I'd get a fecal asap to rule out parasites, etc. Mine, though only a year or so, eats 3-4 days a week (food is offered daily) and he only eats from hand too (crickets).

Do you have the proper UVB/A light on? Temps? Light on how long? Also, they need daily misting. Hope all gets better.
