new owner has question

i have a 8 inch L/G my question is this how often if at all should i put her in arms depth of water? my bearded dragon i try once a week,plus it helps with his shedding since he's 8 inches.
plus im gonna order some silkworms on fri.(free shipping this friday fyi silkwormfarm.com)how many of those should i give her ? a few every other meal? shes an adult i beleive because of her size and read they dont eat everyday.

as for water they hate it! i do it about 1 a month or when they look like they will she . but it isnt necessary. silk worms are great and thanks for the info i might be looking at buying them then.but yea every couple meals is good. they dont like them as much as crickets though.

Don't listen to murphy, some geckos won't mind the water and others will never give up trying to get out. It isn't necessary to soak them at all unless they get have left over shed. I havnt soaked a gecko for about a year now because the shed on the toes isn't that serious, a wet q-tip will get almost any shed off. If your gecko has already eaten its regular meal you dont need to give them extra because you'll end up with an overweight gecko. You can give them as many as they'll eat though because they really are very nutricious. And regarding that cricket comment by murphy, some geckos love crickets and some don't, if you have one that eats crickets it is likly that they will accept worms too. In my opinion crickets from a petstore isn't the best staple food because there is a higher chance of them carrying parasites than mealworms, silkworms, or any other worm you give to your leo.
