I found I baby northern ali (aprox 2 1/2 inches long), right now she is in a 10 gallon aquarium with a soil/dry bed a beast substrate mix, some bark hiding areas and a water dish. Now for the questions, do I need UVB? what humidity should I keep her at? what about temp? what else to feed besides crickets? (I have lobster roaches,silkworms and waxworms.) Is a light necassary? I've been looking on the net for a good care sheet but can't find any. Thanks for any info.

I have had mine for about 6 months now. He is a big pig and eats any bug put in the cage with him. I hear they eat spiders in the wild but I am not going to find out. Everything you mentioned is great and a variety is great.
I dont use UV with mine altho I do use a vitamin/calcium dust and a supplement vitamin stuff in the water.
He has a couple of various hides but is out and about most of the time. Of the 5 species of lizard I have he is truly my favorite.

or they will develope mbd, metabolic bone disease. as adults they will eat up to 40 full grown crickets a week. keep an eye on it to make sure it doesnt have any mites, check poop for signs of ilness, etc... good luck with your new baby.
