i have 5 gray treefrogs both Hyla chrysoscelis and versicolor in a 50 gallon tank.. and one green treefrog.. they seem to getting quite fat lately.. i havent changed anything that i am feeding them.. usually put around 30 large dusted crickets in once or twice a week.. should i be feeding them less? or do they bulk up for cold weather? seems a bit early for that.. ive had them since march and its only in the last month or so that they have gotten overweight.. it mostly seems to be the females... at first i thought maybe they were going to produce eggs.. but so far nothing.. not sure how that process works anyway.. ive never bred treefrogs before.. ive seen them amplexing a few times but nothing has come of it so far.. and the green is a male, no females.. and hes still massive..
