I was wondering if any one could tell me what a minimum weight would be for both sexes prior to hibernation?
Thanks in advance.

I have successfully bred mine at 100-125 gr. You would want them to be in that range going into brumation. If they are less you can try to keep them warm another month and power feed them to try to get them a bit closer and then short cycle them for two months.

thats lucky, iv got my spotted male upto 105g, he is a bit of a stubborn feeder, and will only eat small food items, so its been a long haul to get him to a good weight now.
cheers
Gary
I chose to wait before breeding my females this year because they only weighed 150gr. My females are currently 230gr and 238gr respectively and they are two months from brumation.
I prefer them to be in the 250 range before going down for the winter.
