There is no doubtedly shovel-nosed snakes in captivity... as to how successfull the attempts are is another matter. If you are a novice snake keeper I would suggest taking the snake back to where you have found it. (provided it has not come into contact with any other captive snakes)
If you would like to persue this, then perhaps contact Dan in the venomous forum... he goes by oxyrhopus or something like that... I think it's the latin name for the inland tiapan. Anyways, this guy keeps over a 100 species and is very successfull in keeping some rare and difficult colubrid species.
Before I wish you luck, I will have to suggest captive bred animals over wild-caught for pets. Better for the animals, and better for you, the owner... it's just plain easier.
