Hello
I have an adult pair of monitors (argus/sand) male and (gould/sand) female. I recently moved and had to clear out their enclosure. While I got everything setted, I temporaryly used newspaper as their substrate. I noticed she was larger then usual and also wasn't feeding like normal but paid no real attention. About two weeks ago, I got home and my house smelled horrible. I checked all my animals and when I got my my pair, I found the source of the smell. I found eggs under and around the newspaper, they were smashed and really stunk. I think they were their for at least a few days. I also noticed small white things in their water container during that time, but again paid no real attention. I still can't believe my stupidity. Please read your monitors, they do let you know what is going on with them.
How long before she can become gravid again???
