Just thought you should know that it is illegal to even disturb (i.e. remove from the roadside, etc...) any Eastern Hognose Snake in the state of Massachusetts. If you have the animal by means other than local collection, then I would advise not to advertise the locality.
Just food for thought.

that you have a permit for your business from the field headquarters of the Division of fisheries and Wildlife in Westboro, Massachusetts. The permit is only valid with specimens purchased or removed from locations outside of Massachusetts where they are not restricted as a Species of Special Concern.
Good advice for people who do not though. Thanx, Leo

Not trying to be a smart@$$, but doesn't that mean the locale posted is still illegal to own, since Cape Cod is not outside of Mass?

Just curious,

Yes, that is true, the specimen is from Cape-Cod, but not a part of my actual collection The photo is taken of a Hognose as it was found in the wild, on Cape-Cod. I try not to limit my observations to specimens confined to captivity.
I sometimes make the point of saying that a particular animal is from Cape-Cod (meaning its in my collection here on
Cape-Cod, not specifically locale oriented) though that's not the case here anyway. Just some food for thought, things need to be looked at from different angles.
