Hi; My Amazons mated February 9th of this year and its been just over 27 weeks (6mo 3wk) that my girl has been pregnant. So, I have read that the gestation period is usually 6-7 months (where we're at right now), but I'm wondering what time periods those of you whom have bred Amazons have experienced?
She ate like crazy in the beginning then went off food late in the spring/early summer, and has been cooking her babies under the black light every day for some time now. She has maintained her weight quite well and is in very good visible condition.
