That appears to be an abscess. They come from an injury that becomes infected. There is cheesy like pus inside of that that needs to be removed. When i worked at Petco a few yyears back, our reptiles would never see a vet. I learned to care for them the best i could with what i had. If you have no access AT ALL to a vet, you can apply a hot compress (not too hot) to the wound. That can be made with stacked paper towels and hot water. That will soften up the abscess hole. You can squeeze the pus out after that. MAke sure that you get all of the pus out, and then clean the area with peroxide and water (dilute). Clean this 2x daily, and make sure to raise the temp a few degrees in his enclosure to ensure that he can heal a bit more quickly (it will simulate a fever of sorts). Hopefully this will cure it. He may need to go on antibiotics if the infection has spread, or gotten too bad and only e vet can help you there. But what you can do is keep him comfortable, keep the handeling sessions down to a minmimum, keep him warmer than usual and make sure his diet is the best it can be. Good luck.

that was what i thought it was...u see the red spot on the growth? there was where i pricked it...hoping to see green puss flowing out but only 1 or 2 drops of blood came out...the growth looks redish...should i make an incision?

Contact a vet and they can sometimes find a reptile vet
that can coach them over the phone.

This doesn't look good to me..

The scab needs to come off before you can get the pus out. The compress should help soften it up
