Is there anyone here who knows about any non-locality colour variations known in Baird's? I have a female which looks very much like it may be hypomelanistic, and I have heard of a breeder producing hypos, apparently it is a recessive mutation (?). I know what the Texas and Mexican phases look like, my female is very silver (as in the Texas type) but with much reduced dark stripes, resulting in a beautiful light silver colour. Those few photos I found on the internet of poss hypo Baird's are much more orangey than my animal. I would be grateful for any advice, or any contact details of people who may know about this. Thank you!
