Wild caught female Eastern Milk from Luray, Virginia. A friend of mine may breed her with his Va. locality male next year.

Is that typical coloration for VA milks?
Eastern VA I assume?

Man, that is a beautiful snake.
It makes the ones we have here in South Western Ohio look like dung. LOL

You know Dean, that's a good question. I believe that this female is an above average specimen as far as the color of her saddles. She has a higher amount of Red then most that I have seen. She is from the North West part of the state, in the mountain region. About a 1/2 mile from Luray Caverns. Most of the Eastern Milks I've come across in my area (Eastern Va.) have not looked as red. Maybe in the western range they tend to look better. That I'm not sure of. Thanks for the complements.

I have an adult male WC from NY. I planned to breed him to a nice SC female... but the guy backed out from the deal. Female eastern milks are pretty rare, they are outnumbered by like 15 to 1. I don't think I am going to breed them next year... My male is looking so good.

I hope to breed my wc female next year, I can't breed her this year because I have no male to breed her to. When I caught her I felt eggs in her so I kept her and she layed 8 eggs and are due to hatch in 2 weeks and 2 days, she is only 30 inches long and layed 8 eggs. I plan on keeping some males and females eastern milks from her clutch. Thanks Scott

She's very peaceful, and has produced great babies. Females are relatively common where i'm at.
