I personally wouldn't recommend it. You never know what happens when sun and glass reflect .... Something just can't be prevented, and that happens to be one of the them.
Your best bet would be purchasing a cheap Rubbermaid bin, and sticking your beardie in there with a branch to suntan on. It's easy to carry in and out of the house.
You can buy one of the 'mostly clear' ones, so they can even see what's going on around them.

Yes, that's another good idea.
I built an outdoor inclosure for one of my beardies, and it was a simple job. I will take a quick picture of it tonight, and post it. It will give everyone an idea of how easy it is to put together. I put it together in an afternoon with my sister. Easy stuff, and fun because you can basically custom design it to your preference for size, etc.

The sun WILL magnify add will roast your dragon. Plus screen will allow the UVA/UVB to get to your dragon where glass wont.
If you do use a bin, get one that is the appropriate size for your dragon and cut out the center of the lid make a kinda "picture frame" out of it. Then cut a piece screen so that it over laps the hole in the lid. Glue it in and you are set. The reason for the lid is that you not only don't want your dragon getting out, but you also don't want any strange bugs or animals getting in.
places like petsmart have nylong mesh carges called Reptarium's
they don't cost much, can be taken apart when not used, you can clean and disinfect it with normal cleaning stuff.
only thing is they are light weight so they might need a few big rocks to keep the wind from blowing them around
but the rocks could be good basking rocks inside the cage
the come in several sizes, I have two one is my dragons main home and the 22 gallon one is for travel and suning him.
22 gallon is just right for carrying him!

The glass acts like an insulator and will cook the dragon. Basically your 20 gallon cage will turn into an oven. You need to get a mesh or screened cage that will allow the air to move freely through it.

Beautiful Dragons
the cage i have does have a screen lid? to let air circulate but do you think it'll still cook him?
If you'll have your dragons outdoors - make sure it isn't too hot - and provide some shade!!! I have read to many tragic stories about dragons that died outdoors because it became to hot for them. The sun heats up a glass-cage very fast - and a screenlid is NOT enough.
