Looking for feedback on cages Boaphile vs Vision

Joeycoco98 Aug 18, 2005 10:01 PM

Can someone tell me the difference between the two. It appears from the pics I've seen that the Boaphile cages do not have spaces for lighting otherwise, I can't see any major differences. Anyone using the two that can provide adive on the better purchase.

Thanks,
Miller

I have both and I prefer the Boaphiles (although they're both pretty nice). You can get incandescent or fluorescent lighting put in your Boaphile cage.
I prefer the Boaphiles because...
1) I like the appearance better
2) You can order it exactly how you want it with whatever options you want.
3) No sagging on the larger cages
4) Easier to clean IMO. I find the textured surface on the Vision cages to be a pain.
5) I don't like the lip on the inside of the Visions. You're snakes can hide behind the lip and you can't see them unless you stick your head in the cage (this is more of an issue when keeping venomous).

They're both nice cages though and you won't go wrong with either choice.

Awesome, just he info I was looking for. I was leaning towards the Boaphile because of price. Thanks for helping me decide!

Remember that with the Boaphiles, they're building your cage after you order it and they're pretty busy so there is usually a 3-4 week wait. I usually order my cages well in advance of when I'll need them so I'm not in any big rush.
Also, they're in Daytona for the expo this weekend so you may not get a quick reply if you email them this weekend.
Good luck,
Chris
