Last year a purchased a boa, and the breeder said it was het for albino. what does "het for albino" mean? Thanks,
It means that it is carring the albino gene, however its not showing through (hence it not being albino)
It basicly means that if you breed it to another het albino or an albino, it would produce normal looking boas as well as albinos. breed it to a normal you would get all normal boas that would be 50% het albino (50% shot at carrying the gene)
Im sure someone else can explain it better cuz im drunk... but thats the jist of it..
he's right, but to expand...
one of your boa's parents was an albino, which is good.
which also means that you need to get an albino or het albino of the opposite sex and breed it with your boa.
then you need to buy me something nice for my help! J/K!!!!
let's see some pics!

I've gotta say that's a pretty good explanation for someone being drunk. I try to avoid getting into technical discussions when intoxicated but well done (by no means am I urging people to drink, just congratulating someone on still being useful while drunk because as an EMT I find that EXTREMELY rare).
