I know that Daytona is close at hand, but it's not too soon to start thinking about MARS (Mid-Atlantic Reptile Show) in Timonium, MD, September 17-18 (there's also an icebreaker dinner on the night of the 16th).

MARS is a fund-raiser to preserve rainforest in Costa Rica.
Proceeds from admission go to buy rainforest for conservation!

This is a strict captive bred only show, no wild-caught.

MATTS and WCT will have tables at MARS.

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources has a table there as well, if anyone has an opinion on MD reptile regulations and wants to share them with DNR management!

Don't forget that Mark O'Shea will be there this year, and as he has a new book coming out this year, he'll be selling and signing his book at the show, too.

Anita and Allen Salzberg of HerpArts.com, the Herp Digest, and the NYTTS will have a book signing at the MARS Reptile and Amphibian Rescue "fundraiser and icebreaker" on the Friday of the show, September 16th.

I'll be there the whole weekend, as always.
