Hognose Baby!!

SalatoCenterKY Aug 19, 2005 09:03 AM

Okay, I just hatched my first hognose snake (and I am unbelievably excited), so is there anything special I need to do? I have him/her in a "critter keeper" with reptibark, a small waterbowl, and a damp papertowel (because he still has some yolk reamining). Anything I need to add or take away? I am an accidental mother, and I've never done this before so anything would be helpful. Thanks, for any and all responses!!

What would I begin feeding him? I know to wait until after his first shed, but what then? He is about 5 inches long, maybe 6. Thanks!
