so apparently gertie thought it would be a good idea to lay her eggs under the hide spot. i am assuming she kicked walter out of the hide spot because he was back their staring at it and she occasionally sticks her head out and glares. i took him out of the cage and he is sitting on my head right now till i figure out what to do with him. i guess i can put him in the 10 gallon for a little while until she is done

ok, it seems that me and walter got lucky, she must have started laying last night because when i went back there she was out basking and i offered her some wax worms and she ate them. i removed her and dug through the sand and i found four eggs. three are squishy and one has a potential pink spot and seems hard. we will just have to see.
