Is there a way to tell the difference between male and female Alligator Lizard babies? My eggs should be hatching any day now, and I want to keep a male and female and let the rest go. How can I tell the difference?

Well the eggs are just starting to hatch... I still don't know how to tell the difference between the genders. Does no one here know how to tell the difference? Alice, do you know?
If no one responds, I guess I'll just have to keep 2 random babies and hope they are male and female. I can't hold on to the babies while I wait for responses. I have to release the babies that I don't keep right away. I don't want them adjusting to a cage before releasing them in the wild!
Unless a baby would evert its hemipenes for you, there's no way to sex them. Even then, you wouldn't be able tell which were females.
