At what age can you definately sex a tegu by looking at it? I want to get mine a companion after I figure out what sex it is so I can breed them. It will be 1 year old in september.

You can't go by age as depending on who has raised them and how much they have been fed daily there could be a huge difference in size at any given age .
You can't 100% visually sex a tegu untill it is in the 25-28 inch size range and the actually size at which you can do this depends on the species . Blues can be 100% sexed at the smaller of this size range with reds at the top of this size range (Argentine red males have very small spurs for their size compared to the other male tegus so they are much harder to sex by someone who isn't experianced in doing it . Female reds also have larger spurs compared to the other tegus so they can be easily confused with males when they are smaller )

Mine is a Argentine B@W. I really want to get it a companion so I can possibly breed them in the future. What is the only 100% method of getting one of these sexed? Do i need to get it xrayed or ultrasound at a vet. Your website is really nice. I like the bluexred crosses too bad I didnt know a lot before I got mine.
