Question on Laid Eggs

vtrescuekid Aug 19, 2005 08:04 PM

I've got a question regarding Leopard Geckos and them laying eggs. I started off as a snake person at first, but decided I needed something different so I went with a pair of Leopard Geckos (1.1). They're both mature and breed which is expected. The female lays 2 eggs every 3 to 4 weeks or so. My question is this: In people's experience, what percentage of the eggs are fertile? Every other? Every third? Because I can't really tell the difference I just put them all in vermiculite and put them in the incubator, I figure it can't hurt and that the worst would be the unfertile eggs don't hatch. Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated.

Usually the females first couple of clutches are unfertile, but it never hurts to incubate them anyways. Good luck.
