sportygurl3392 Aug 20, 2005 08:42 AM

This will be my first crested gecko, so s/he will have the cage all to him/her self
i am hopeully getting a juvinille
i was just wondering if it needs to be in a smaller encosure before putting it into the actual terrerium
i have read that it should be quarintened before intoducing it into its perminant habitat. but is this only if there is more then one crestie?

thxn ahead of time

A smaller cage is good for very young crested geckos. In larger setups they sometimes have a hard time finding food. Quarenteeing is only applicable if you have more than one gecko. If this is your only gecko then you don't need to quarentee them, as there isn't anything to quarentee them away from.
