Anyone from Mercer Co., WV?

I have friends moving to Bluefield, WV who are just getting interested in herps. Does anyone know what they should expect to see and any tips? (times, locations, etc)

I think there are Eastern boxies and maybe Eastern hognose snakes but have never been there myself and cannot advise.
