#1. That iguana looks majorly dehydrated... at 8 inches I would say its barely 4-6 months old..Its also thin and needs some very good supportive care and supplementation as well as good food.
#2. Hypomelanism in iguana's isn't something you normally see since their coloring varies dramatically from hatchling to adult.. and from location to location. He could very well develop black as he grows older. Besides, hypomelanism isn't a complete lack of black but a reduction in black marking...but just because an animal has no black.. doesn't mean its hypomelanistic either.
Why are people always trying to make their animals a morph? Can't you appreciate it for what it is instead of what you want it to be? Its a beautiful creature with lovely colors.. Hypomelanistic or not, its one of nature's great achievements along with the rest of animal life.
