Hi everyone.
I was just wondering if anyone has had any adverse affects or possitive effects on there snakes that are kept in a room or room that is near some vibration caused by music.

i dont see any effects from my music, i listen to it sort of loud. loud enough to hear in other rooms but not enough to give a headache, i play it on my computer so the bass is low and not much vibration. but all my snakes but the milk do fine with music, none of my snakes (but the milk) have biten any person (the corn bit my sisters cat). i dont know if music affects the milk because hes a wild caught and ive only had him for a few days, and the biting was only the first day i had him.

I don't think it has any effect on snakes. I have music playing when I'm taking care of my snakes and it doesn't seem to bother them.
But I use to compete in stereo competitions and i know that loud bass(low vibrations)MIGHT have an effect on eggs. It would have to be pretty loud.
Just my 2 cents....

If you have a high strung snake it can. They will stop feeding and act restless.Ive had a couple like that. Most corns can handle it fine.Ive gotten rid of all my nervous snakes so once again the neighborhood can enjoy me playing in drop d with a 150 watt amp..lol....Paul
