CBS 5 (San Francisco, California) 18 August 05 Python Found Roaming Sacramento Building
Workers at a Sacramento fencing company got a nasty surprise when they arrived at work Wednesday.
They found a 15-foot Burmese python slithering around the building. It took animal control officers several hours and a large hook to capture the 200-pound beast.
This wasn't the first time that this snake, named Miss Hiss, has managed to escape from her owner, who runs a business next door. He says he's been trying to get rid of the python for some time, and has recently put her up for sale.
Miss Hiss is now at an animal shelter in Sacramento, and the owner was given a citation for letting her escape.
