Im getting a new bearded dragon.the website says that the hatchlings will be about 10",but then I went to a petstore and they had small beardeds about 10" but the guy said they were nine weeks old.so whats the deal?

a 10" baby dragon would be about 6-10 weeks old. A fresh out of the egg hatchling dragon ranges around 3-5" in length, with average about 4". Dragons ideally, should be at least 6" long before being sold (or bought for that matter) or 6 weeks old (or both, as I see it). This way, the dragon is well established, eating well (or should be by then) and has a greater chance to survive the stress of moving to a new home.
