I usually hang on the venomous forums and rosy boas but this question pertains to this audience. A friend of mine recnetly constructed a larg cage for an adult female B.C.I. He had her in a 60 gallon tank for two years, as the tank was getting to small, he built her a new one. Now the tanks heating is fine and everything seems up to par but she is acting strange. The only thing I can think of that may be affecting her was the change of the bedding. She has been in bark since a baby and always did great. I told my friend to get aspen bedding as it is much cheaper, and lighter than bark. It is also easier to burrow etc. Anyway, she is now acting strange. She doesnt cruise around the tank near as much or and just doesnt seem to be "herself" Now it may very well be nothing but has anyone ever heard of a snake stressing because of a change of bedding? I have realized it could be the fact that she doesnt have to cruise because she could be in area that has perfect heat and no reason to but I thought I would ask, THANKS FOR ANY INPUT, JON
