Seperate Breeds together??

Hi i had an important question.... Can i keep different species of box turtles in one pen????????? i wanted to put an ornate with my three toed. Is that ok? If not is there any breed i can keep together?

Box turtles can cross breed. If you are not breeding them and have both the same sex than that is one thing. However, the may require different habitats so you enclosure would have to have a the proper set up for both species.
I have housed ornates with easterns and easterns with three toeds. My enclosure is large though.

You can do it. Most people say not to cross breed. So try and keep with the same sex. I have a 3 toed easter cross breed and theres nothing wrong people just think its not right i guess. I know 3 toed and easterns cross breed in the wild(not to much but they do) so its not bad just not recomended. Try housing same sex. Ornate and eastern is fine to house together just make sure they have a lot of room.
