I have a few questions...
1st off- should i have a daytime bulb in the day and a night at night or a night bulb all the time or just a night in the day and nothing at night?

Do all your leos hide ALL day, mine doesnt seem interested in food, his fecal was negative. HMM help

If you have a UTH and the leo tank is in a room where there is natural light from windows then you would not need a lamp at all. If you are using a lamp as a heat source then I would go with a night glo bulb (blue or red) on 24/7. If you can, get a UTH though, because belly heat seems to serve leos better than warm air. Leos are supposed to hide all day since they are nocturnal. Try feeding the leo late at night after it has been up and about for a while. If not, leave some mealies in a bowl for it. If the leo's tail is nice and fat, and the leo is behaving normally, then don't worry; leos may go off food for short periods of time, but come around eventually.

I use both a infared light and UTH. I keep the UTH on low, cuz I use papertowels as substrate and I have a few tiles in there too. The reason I keep the UTH on low is by also using the light I get the warmth from the light that heats up part of the tile plus the warmth of the UTH underneath. I turn the light off at night and just use the UTH.
