i have a baby gtp i have a nice 15 yr. old bonsai tree i was thinking about putting in the cage, would this be harmful to the snake in anyway, if there was even a ? about it i would do it, just figured it does not hurt to ask. thanks.

thats a hard question to answer.there are all sorts of bonzais.small ones,large ones,ones with prickly leaves or thorns.i think i have seen a bonsai for just about every tree out there.so,the answer to your question is,depends on the tree.use your head.if there seem to be any thorns or spikey branches,id say no,but if it seems safe,then chances are it is.another concern would be for the bonsai.some trees do not do good in the warm humid enviornment your snake is supposed to be in.check it out,but first you need to know what species of tree you have there.the right bonsai may make a really nice display but i do have to say, i really have seen very few bonsais that i can imagine a chondro enjoying.usually they are too small and very few large enough branches for him to perch in.
