Question about mites.

leoman89 Aug 21, 2005 05:25 PM

Hi i dont have mites i was just wondering how would you be able to tell if you do have mites? i work at a pet shop and we got in a bad shippment and the hamsters had mites. so the past couple days i have been trying to get rid of them and i notice them crawling on my hands and i dont know if they get to the rest of my body. and when i get home i get right in the shower before i touch my animals and right after the shower i put the clothes in the wash is it safe to assume that i wont get mites?

Its pretty easy to tell if you have mites, you'll see little white things crawling on you or your reptiles. If your reptiles do get mites get some reptile relief and use as directed.
