my 1st time at daytona....what is up with this fasination with BAALLZZZ.....table after table...where are all the good snakes?????

At least they where snakes. A few years ago it was leopard geckos. Every other table was full of em.

It seems that everyone and their dog has decided that every small difference in ball pythons has to be a new color "trait". Add the fact that most folks don't think for themselves, and tadaaaa you have the ball pythons market. It is like pokeman dolls, they must collect them all.

I am NOT saying that legitimate color phases don't exist, clown, spider, etc... But you have to admit that lots of regular ball pythons get sold as LEMON FANCY or CHOCOLATE DELIGHT or whatever they are calling them these days.

Same thing happened with Corns snakes, Leopard Geckos, etc...

I have to steal this saying.. I love it...

While you were goofing off in Florida, Rick and I went out west. At 4:40 and 4:30 am on Sunday morning we found a pair of adult dark phases in Langtry. Female about 4 miles west and the male on 3.6 west. Both on the south side of the road in the shady part of the cuts. Guess the full moon does not make a difference when they are hungry.

Too much rain in the Huecos. No luck.

I guess you did miss the albino alterna stuff. I see they deleted that thread. Alot went on. Call me and I can fill you in.
