I don't know the exact method, but I know that he turns the temps up after 3 weeks because higher temps are believed to cause brighter colors. I don't know if that would be true however, because when I pulled my little hatchling from her egg she was a very very bright abberant phase and her egg was incubated below 85 degrees for the majority of the incubation period which would supposedly cause her to have darker colors.

Ok where is good info for breeding incubation ect.? what is a good temp to produce males and temp for female? is 1:1 ratio of water to vermic. by weight good
Albey's Too Cool Reptiles has a good link regarding how he incubates his leo eggs. Male leos are often produced at temps between 86-90 degrees and females are often produced at temps between 80-84 degrees.

Tremper's method is to reduce melan, not to brighten colors. genetics still play a vital role in how the babies come out. there is only really one reason to use Tremper's method in my opinon, and that is to get "brownless" albinos. He actually moves them after 2 weeks not 3, and he only moves them if he wants females.

According to Brian Viets PhD only twenty-five percent of melanin is inherited from the parents. The rest is controlled by enviornmental conditions, even after birth. This means if you wish to have lighter colored geckos without risking a mistake using the tremper incubation method you can simply offer the geckos a warmer hot end of their enclosure after they are born. The geckos should gradually lighten up.
once the geckos have the melan, it doesnt go away. if you have an albino gecko that has the brown color, it will always have it no matter what. if you have an albino with no brown color, it will get brown, if not provided with a 90 hot spot.
