How long does it take for baby beardies to feel comfortable with their owner????
I feel Syd just hates me. He appreciates the crix, and silkies and looks at me mostly to see if i've left the room. I give him a bath a few times a week. the temps are cool side 83, hot side 108. uva/uvb bulb extera or something like that.
I'm using paper towels as substrate for now, because he had coccidia overload.
I've had him for about a month, he ran away for 3-4 days. I miraculously found him. He ran away while we were outside.. newbie stupid mistake.
anyway, He runs away when i want to pick him up for whatever reason. He is squirmy and today after his bath hes/her (really don't know yet) beard got all black. I took him out of the bath and held him close to my chest and pet him and talked to him, and for that i got the black beard. HRMPH!
any advice??? Do i need to cuddle with him more or less or what?
