I know that distilled water cannot be used for amphibians because they soak in it & it causes an imbalance in the animal's cells, eventually leading to death. However, can distilled water be used for misting crested gecko enclosures? I mist the animals & enclosure once or twice a day & the animals lick the water off themselves.
I'm asking because I have hard tap water & I'm getting water/mineral spots all over my pretty tank.
