When is it OK to start handling?

Crapinapale Aug 22, 2005 01:35 PM

I purchased my Leo about 4 days ago and i was wondering when it's ok to start handling it. She still gets sorted of startled when i reach in to take out her waterdish/shed box for refilling or rehumidifing, so i know i should wait a bit. Some people have said wait about a week and i think i've heard one perosn mention waiting a month, but those seem kinda different.

So a general range as to when i could expect her to be ok with being handled would be nice

like i said in a couple posts down, you can start handling them after about a week since you've aquired them, just give them time to settle in and you can hold him/her regularly.
