my new leo will open his mouth wide somrtimes is this normal? thanks.
can you yawn?
That was a very rude response since it bothered me a little too when I saw my leo yawn for the first time. In the begining I thought that my first leo did it to tell me that he was hungry but later as I watched him more I realized that he was yawning and I still think its one of the cutest things they do so to answer your question yes they do yawn.
It wasn't ment to be rude, mabye your just in a bad mood.
thanks nickoleo i think blue leo is the one with the bad attitude
Im not really in a bad attitude, i even said it wasnt ment to be rude. But if you really want to lighten my attitude a bit, why don't you stop posting incorrect information and search your question before you ask it?
i am pretty sure i resarch my info but "i" care for my leo and was worried. so think before u give smart-elic remarks like "CAN U YAWN" well ya! but can they was the question. not me. so for this last bit of info "DO U YAWN"!!!!!!!!!
srry everyone for being rude i just dont like it when people say i dont research or care for my leos. and blueleo i thought there were no stupid questions on a forum so SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
also i would like to no blueleo where anywhere it says anything about leos yawnig. after years of research i havent found that anywhere so please research that and tell me where u can find it.
THANK U
YEARS? Yeah right. if you had years you would have seen your leos yawn once in a while. Also if you "research" your info before you give it out then i'd give up that source and find another one because it isnt a very good one
, and to answer your question, yes i do yawn.
yes years ! and yes i have seen them yawn but just once in a while not every few minutes like my new one. he is a baby and did it about ten times anyone who cared for their leo would be concerned and THANK U BLUELEO for ur support and helpfullness. u did a great job putting me down and hope hope u feel like a jerk. i would greatlly appreciate u not putting me down and i know good resources and i have been with leos for four years thank u and as for bad resources U r one.
I Don't see why your lieing, and please show me where i have given anyone bad information? I'll certainly show you that you havn't had a leo for 4 years.
i think you're all immature, and stupid, and rude. let sleeping dogs lie. this thread was done a long time ago. you guys just keep beating away at it like one of you is going to suddenly post "Why yes! It seems i might have been out of line and/or rude. i apologize for all the harm i have cause you and this board." all of you shut up, but no hard feelings, just posting it as i see it.
You've went too far. Your calling me immature, and stupid, and whatever the heck else you wrote... If you insulting me isn't immature then why asking where i have given bad info is? Seriously be a hypocrite some more. and Murphy i'm still looking forward to you showing me my "bad advice".
the false info BLUELEO is that u can prove that i havent had leos for four years. the problem is u u need to shut ur freakin mouth and tell me where it says anything about leo yawning. and again years i havent seen it yet. so since u know everything about leos tell me how long u have been with leos. NO LIEING or is that too hard for u. and as for flammysnake what the heck r u doin on the leo forum snake and what gives u the right to call me immiture and if this post is so old why r u reading it.
thank u very much
"and as for flammysnake what the heck r u doin on the leo forum snake and what gives u the right to call me immiture and if this post is so old why r u reading it.
thank u very much"
i couldn't agree more with you. But back to your question. Just look at the topics you've asked, they are all things you would encounter the first year you've had a leo. Back when i got my first leo i saw her yawn the first day, so with more leos that would definently increase the odds of you seeing it.
All this name calling and everything over a topic that just asked if leos yawn? Lets just stay on topic please. Yes, leos yawn. If they aren't showing any other signs of being sick, they are fine.

I don't know who has a bad attitude or who is in a bad mood. All I know is that I laughed out loud reading your comment. I needed that

I'm glad someone has a positive attitude, your welcome =)
sort of. what they're doing is streatching their jaws, which is why you see them do it the most after eating. snakes do it too. so, they aren't 'yawning,' just stretching. it's normal
