heffner2212 Aug 22, 2005 02:47 PM

Ok well I took out the flood lamp and added a regul;ar lamp....For some reason even without the lamp the closet is so hot......so the hot side is around 95 but when i touch it its only warm so I know thats ok....The cool side is around 83 at night and 85 in day...is that too hot?I cant think Of anyway to cool it down....I also put a small fan in there to give better ventiation.....Also the humidity is aroun d60%.......So as long as those tempos arent to hot I think everything is good......

ps: In the winter the closet tempshouldnt change too much should it....?

your gonna want to get a lower wattage bulb. Also if it is a normal light bulb and not a red/blue night time bulb you will want to get one you can use all the time. Just because it doesnt feel hot doesnt mean it isnt.

Try using a heat pad or a smaller wattage bulb. Also try opening the closet some and see if it cools down.
