hmmm. not sure either. The other day he said the he was going to leave the forum because we "act like we know everything", then later he said he was kidding... so im not sure.

I hope he was kidding, because that is downright rude to say (even if he was kidding). People ask questions so we answer them as simply as we can...don't ask questions if you don't want to be told the correct answer. Was there a fight or something that would cause him to say that (if I remember correctly, he said he enjoyed the forum?).

Yea, no there was no fight. He started talking about how he put his leo on some reptibark or something, and people where like that wasnt a good choice for a leo, cuz of impaction and so forth, just normal advice and he was upset.

Hopefully he'll come around and change the substrate....it would be heartbreaking to lose your first gecko due to something you could have prevented.

He posted a post titled "I'm leaving this dumb forum you guys think youre perfect later n/p" but posted a "I was just kidding, just testing you guys" post a while later and said he will post pics soon but hasn't posted since.

He's asked all he wanted to ask got some answers he did and didn't want. He then got his new gecko and isn't bothered about posting anymore. I really hope he posts some pictures and keeps us updated.. well because after all the input people have given him it would be nice to feel it was well used. (Although he did put them on bark chip even after people said not to.)
Anyways I sure as hell hope that guy posts soon and lets us know how his new little Gecko is getting on.

What happened was he got some answers he didnt like, so he didnt listen. I told him that the forum is useless if you dont listen to peoples advice, and that its the best for your gecko. He posted "Im leaving this dumb forum you people think you know everything later np" changed his mind and then posted "Im just kiddin just testing you guys" havent heard from him since. To be honest, it annoys me that he doesnt listen, and hes being selfish by not doing whats best for the animal. I do hope he posts again, so we can see how his gecko freddie is doing, and I hope everything is ok. Later
