here he is a bit more colored up

I dont think its a harlequin because his limbs dont have a good amount of mottling on them. Reminds me of a creamsicle though.

yeah, that was something i meant to mention on the first post, i should probably call it a red and yellow flame or something, i meant red harlequin as a comparison ( or getting close) to AC's red harlequins in coloration.
i definitely am not calling it a creamsicle as i have a black and cream crested that is white compared to the coloration on this one.

i would agree, that's why i purchased it, hopefully this one will turn out to be a female...

I thought that Harlequin meant the flame on the body. I don't think it needs to have markings on the leg for it to be called Harlequin. I'll have to look it up later in the "bible", but I'm pretty sure that this particular crested is definitely a harlequin.

Of course - I've been wrong before - and will stand corrected if need be.

On the other hand - it really sucks and is a poor example, and you should send it to me immediately. hehe....

Nice - very nice Harlequin.

do you think that one came from you, or allen?
the guy i purchased it from got it from a pet store a few weeks ago....

flamedcrestie Aug 22, 2005 05:38 PM

the black and cream crested has been renamed to " novo"
because as you can see, that is what appears to be written on it's back. i'm hoping this is a female so i can breed it to the red harlequin.

Novo....very cool.

Harlequin definition-"lots of irregular blotching of the lateral dark areas with a light colored pattern of the same shade found in the middorsal zone. the limbs instead of being solid colored are typically highly patterned"
So that beautiful geckos not a harly, but its damn good looking!
Super nice gecko.
