This "hypo" salmon, is an 03 and has some awsome deep rich dark coloring to him, which i think is perfect for making sunglows.

Nice boa nick, looks like she ate a monkey ...she looks like a super for sure. Cant wait to see her babies.

I got this girl for $160 at the Tinley Park Show auction back in 2002. She is my very first boa and next year my Sharp male will be introduced to her.

I've always seen some of the most spectacular adult hypos but many of the babys I've seen, with a few exceptions, are suprisingly dark and speckeled. Is this a change that happens with time? Does anyone have some before/after pictures?
Thanks in advance.

All THe speckled dark babies get even darker with age (usually). You have to get em CLEAN and SPECKLE free as babies in order to grow into clean beautiful adults. The speckled ones are usually hypo's not the SUPER or dominant form. They could also be the ones that are het for albino.Check out my yearling in the previous post. Nick, you should have asked everyone to post the same snake as a baby too! I always want to look at more pics! That is a nice female of yours, what a little fatty!

This is fun. I got this '01 salmon for $300 back in mid '02, mother was a large dark normal BCI and father was a killer F1 Ihle line salmon

When I first got him/her:

I just recently poste this pic of him/her (not sure yet still)

Head shot when taken out of shipping box as a baby:

Head shot taken this month:

New baby tail shot (well full body shot):

Tail shot last month:

Of course, I am showing all the nice pics in the lighter phase. When s/he is in dark phase, the pink fades from the sides and the top gets very dark buckskin. The only thing I notice compared to majority of normal salmons is mine never gets that dark gray head when in dark mode, the head always stays light and the same as the body color. Don't know why?!
